I've been looking for a new dentist since my last dentist stopped carrying my insurance. I came across Davila & Associates, they accepted my insurance and they were accepting new patients. I called about a month ago to set up an appointment for my twice a year check up and cleaning. Got one for 5/19/2026. They call the day before to confirm my appointment, cool. Once I get there I fill out all the paperwork then get called to the back soon after. As I was being escorted to the back room I asked the lady if she was going to be the one cleaning me up this morning? She replied, "no, just x-rays today so that we can determine what type of cleaning you need." I was caught off guard about returning another day for my cleaning. I had already missed some hours at work. I confirmed that they do not do cleanings the same day and asked to cancel my appointment. Everybody from the tech to the dentist had an attitude from that point on. I asked why the attitude, it is okay. This is just a misunderstanding. They were all over the place. "You didnt say that you wanted cleaning when I called yesterday". "Not everybody does cleanings the first day." "You can just leave!" As if it were my fault. T

I've had a very unpleasant experience at.this office. On November 2024, this dentist did treat 2 tooths on the same day, 3.months later the filling fell off completely. I went back there and he fixed, he was very rude, not sure why. This week I felt a gap on the other tooth, part of the filling also fell off. Now, I will have to see another dentist to fix this, he told me that after he didn't want to see me again. How come a dentist does some.work that just lasts a few months?
